And the Journey Begins… One Week before the African Adventure Starts

In April 2008, Chris Francis, managing director at Meech handed over a generous donation to help the students kickstart the campaign. With the adventure due to begin on June 18th, the fundraising target is now within sight. The Land Rover is currently being shipped to Alexandria, where the team will meet it to start their adventure.
The aim of the expedition is to raise money for two worthwhile charities: Help for Heroes, an organization formed to help those who have been wounded in Britain’s current conflicts and the Tusk Trust a dynamic UK based African Wildlife Trust, with over 17 years experience of conserving wildlife, promoting education and supporting community development programmes across Africa.
