“We were particularly pleased with the interest shown in our new SpeedDri system.” said Iain Cameron, International Product Manager for Meech’s Air Technology Division. “With a rapid move towards the compulsory use of waterbourne paints, fast and efficient drying was a major topic for discussion. SpeedDri provides the perfect solution. This simple system is just what many people throughout the Automotive refinishing industry are looking for.”
SpeedDri directs a stream of air over the painted surface to speed up the evaporation process. With successful trials in the UK now complete, Meech was able to demonstrate some impressive drying times. In some cases the total drying process was reduced by almost 20 minutes, ultimately increasing the overall throughput and allowing operators to concentrate on other tasks. Other benefits include a fully adjustable stream of air, a completely clutter free floor area and practically no set up time. SpeedDri has been designed to retrofit into any existing spraybooth in a matter of hours and is fully adjustable to accommodate a range of drying jobs.
